Our main purpose in Project Alpha is to provide motivation, education and skill-building in the areas our young men are dealing with. Each month we have a different topic but we generally have three goals:
- Sharing Knowledge by combating ignorance and fear with factual information.
- Changing Attitudes by providing motivation toward positive change.
- Providing Skills and tools to help create a sense of empowerment and self-esteem.
Our topics include decision making, problem solving, public speaking, etiquette and appearance, interview skills and more.
We also participate in service projects and enrichment activities throughout the year.
When: We meet every 2nd Saturday from 10am to 12 pm
Where: The Phoenix Salvation Army KROC Center, 1375 E Broadway Rd, Phoenix, AZ
