Our Fraternity Mission Statement is: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
We work with our affiliated nonprofit foundation, the Sphinx Educational Fund (www.sphinxeducationalfund.org), to make a difference in the lives of young people through innovative mentorship programs, partnerships and scholarship opportunities.
We encourage all members of Alpha Phi Alpha to join us in our meetings and the other activities listed on our Calendar. Furthermore, we encourage all of our friends and neighbors to support our activities with your presence and contributions.
Alpha Awareness Seminar on June 13 at Phoenix College
If you are interested in joining Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Delta Tau Lambda (Phoenix Alumni) chapter will be hosting an Alpha Awareness Seminar at Phoenix College on June 13.
The informational seminar will be an opportunity for interested men to meet members of our Fraternity, learn about our Fraternity's history, chapter initiatives and requirements for membership.
Attendees should hold a Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.

Also, we encourage High School graduates with a 3.0 GPA in Maricopa County to apply for the Dr. Eugene & Thomasena Grigsby Scholarship. The submission deadline for the 2019 Dr. Eugene & Thomasena Grigsby Scholarship is August 1, 2019.
