Our Fraternity Mission Statement is: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
We work with our affiliated nonprofit foundation, the Sphinx Educational Fund (www.sphinxeducationalfund.org), to make a difference in the lives of young people through innovative mentorship programs, partnerships and scholarship opportunities.

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Sphinx Educational Fund (SEF) invites the community to support our 15th Annual Sphinx Educational Fund and Thurgood Marshall College Fund Brunch on September 29.
Our event aims to raise scholarship funds for deserving youth and assist college-bound Maricopa County high school juniors and seniors with achieving their goal of a college education.
Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line, will serve as our Keynote Speaker and former Phoenix Vice Mayor Michael E. Johnson will receive our Award of Merit.

Project Alpha Mentoring Program for Teenage Black Males in the Phoenix Area
Do you know a young man in the Phoenix area that needs to be impacted positively by Black men? If you know a young man ages 12 through 17 who needs mentoring and guidance, enroll him in the Project Alpha program.
